To the editor: I write this whereas making an attempt to regulate my outrage. I’m a 78-year-old Vietnam veteran and Veterans of International Wars member. Robert Mueller was an 81-year-old Vietnam veteran (“Former FBI Director Robert Mueller dies. Says Trump: ‘Good, I’m glad he’s dead,’” March 21). Amongst his navy awards have been the Bronze Star for valor and the Purple Coronary heart.

President Trump is a 79-year-old draft dodger whose accomplishments embrace medals not earned and two impeachment proceedings he did earn. Mueller went into hurt’s means demonstrating braveness and selflessness. Trump has spent a lifetime deflecting blame and failure onto others.

Trump’s feedback on Mueller’s loss of life (“Good, I’m glad he’s lifeless”) are one other low mark on a profession stuffed with disgraceful habits. They’re petty, immoral and don’t have any honor.

Mueller might be remembered as a struggle hero and devoted public servant. Trump might be remembered as a small man and a travesty.

    Dan Cunha, Anaheim

    ..

To the editor: Of all of the phrases I can provide you with relating to Trump’s feedback on Mueller’s loss of life, I believe “disgusting” could be the one one printable within the Los Angeles Occasions.

    John Powell, Downey
