A U.S. Park Police officer was shot in Washington, D.C., whereas on responsibility, based on an announcement from the company.
Park Police mentioned the officer was shot at 7:30 p.m. on Monday in Southeast Washington on Queens Stroll Pl.
The officer has been transported to a neighborhood hospital, officers mentioned.
