    VIENTIANE, Laos: Lengthy queues shaped at petrol stations throughout the Laotian capital Vientiane on Monday (Mar 16) as gasoline shortages deepened, with the ripples of the Middle East conflict reverberating throughout landlocked Laos.

    The Southeast Asian nation relies on neighbouring Thailand for gasoline provides, which initially introduced it was suspending exports to preserve its holdings, however has assured Vientiane that gasoline is on its approach.

    Greater than 40 per cent of the two,538 filling stations in Laos have been closed final week, in response to the latest authorities knowledge.

    AFP noticed greater than 15 petrol stations shuttered in Vientiane on Monday, with indicators saying that they had run out of gasoline.
