    US State Department approves ’emergency’ weapons sale to Israel

    WASHINGTON: The US State Division accepted the “emergency” sale of 12,000 bomb casings to Israel on Friday (Mar 7) because the international locations interact Iran in an escalating Middle East war.

    The requested sale of 450kg bomb casings, price an estimated US$151.8 million, was accepted by the State Division’s Bureau of Political-Army Affairs, in line with a press launch.

    “The proposed sale will enhance Israel’s functionality to fulfill present and future threats, strengthen its homeland defence, and function a deterrent to regional threats,” the bureau stated in an announcement.

    Along with the munitions, the sale will embrace US authorities and contract engineering, logistics and technical assist companies, in line with the discharge.

    Main US defence corporations have agreed to quadruple manufacturing of superior weapons, President Donald Trump stated in a social media publish Friday, every week after the US and Israel first launched strikes on Iran.
