WASHINGTON: The US Senate is about to vote Wednesday (Mar 4) on a decision aimed toward curbing US President Donald Trump’s authority to proceed military strikes on Iran, within the first congressional take a look at of assist for a battle launched with out specific approval from lawmakers.

The bipartisan measure, launched by Democrat Tim Kaine and Republican Rand Paul, would require the withdrawal of US forces from hostilities in opposition to Iran until Congress authorises the marketing campaign.
