    Türkiye says making ‘intense’ efforts to end Mideast war

    ISTANBUL: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated Tuesday (Mar 3) Türkiye was making “intense” diplomatic efforts to finish the battle roiling the Center East, sparked by the Israeli-US strikes on Iran. 

    “Assaults on Iran, and missile and kamikaze drone assaults (by Iran) on neighbouring nations within the Gulf have fuelled instability,” he stated in a televised deal with. 

    “By means of peace-oriented diplomacy, we’re making intense efforts to resolve points on the negotiating desk,” he added. 

    Earlier, International Minister Hakan Fidan met Washington’s Syria envoy Tom Barrack, ministry sources stated. 

    He additionally spoke along with his UK counterpart Yvette Cooper to debate “the present safety setting within the area”, evaluating “intimately” the “diplomatic efforts that could possibly be undertaken to finish the hostilities and set up stability”.

    He additionally mentioned regional developments with Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, along with his Greek counterpart Giorgos Gerapetritis and with Nechirvan Barzani, president of Iraq’s autonomous Kurdistan area.
