To the editor: The article that mentions the town of L.A.’s lack of ability to construct and keep sidewalks fails to say probably the most aggrieved celebration: individuals in wheelchairs like my spouse (“More than $100 million for transportation projects in jeopardy amid L.A. budget woes,” Feb. 27). We purchased an accessible van with a facet ramp and constructed a concrete path from the sidewalk to the curb. The ramp lowers onto the trail, however the van have to be parked in the proper place.

We submitted to the town a request for a blue-paint handicap-only parking house, however have been rejected as a result of the buckled sidewalk close to (however not in entrance of) our home wants restore. Good luck with that.
