To the editor: White privilege rears its ugly head once more (“Trump administration looks to join suit alleging LAUSD discriminates against white students,” Feb. 19).
In 1970, Superior Courtroom Decide Alfred E. Gitelson dominated that the Los Angeles Unified College District should alleviate the harms of segregation, a ruling that was upheld by the state Supreme Courtroom.
Why is that this now unconstitutional? Is there something this present ruling white class gained’t do to maintain minorities “of their place”? As a retired elementary principal, I discover this transfer very disturbing.
