    San Franciso issues warning as mountain lion roams city streets

    A younger mountain lion has been noticed prowling the streets of downtown San Francisco as officers have warned individuals within the space to take warning.

    The San Francisco Division of Emergency Administration issued an alert late Monday night saying that the mountain lion was noticed within the Pacific Heights neighborhood close to the intersection of Octavia Avenue and Pacific Avenue, simply north of Lafayette Park.

    One man strolling his canine, who spoke to ABC News’ San Francisco station KGO, mentioned says he’ll be avoiding Lafayette Park for now.

    “We like to see issues like this like a lot wildlife within the metropolis. However a little bit bit involved as a result of you understand little puppies. So we’re not coming in till we all know all the pieces is protected,” mentioned Manuel Instances, San Francisco resident.

    Metropolis officers mentioned, “in case you see the mountain lion, slowly again away, don’t run” and urged individuals to contact San Francisco’s Animal Care & Management in the event that they see or come into contact with the animal.
