Quarterback Dak Prescott is not giving Carolina Panthers operating again Rico Dowdle any bulletin-board materials heading into the Dallas Cowboys’ highway recreation on Sunday.

After speeding for a career-high 206 yards in a 27-24 Week 5 win over the Miami Dolphins, the previous Cowboy mentioned Dallas higher “buckle up” in Week 6.

Dak Prescott reacts to Rico Dowdle’s feedback

Per Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning Information, on Thursday, Prescott mentioned he texted Dowdle — whom he performed with in Dallas from 2020-24 — to congratulate him after his profession day. When requested about his feedback, the QB mentioned, “Now we have to [buckle up]. We’re getting on a airplane.”

The Cowboys will fly roughly 943 miles from Dallas to Charlotte for Sunday’s recreation. Nevertheless, Prescott’s amusing reply was his approach of deflecting the query and never placing extra stress on the Cowboys’ struggling run protection.
