    Two arrested over nursery cyber-attack

    A 17-year-old boy and a 22-year-old man have been arrested by police investigating studies of a cyber-attack on a sequence of nurseries in London.

    The Met Police say the pair had been arrested at residential addresses in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire, on suspicion of pc misuse and blackmail.

    Hackers had been mentioned have stolen the images, names and addresses of about 8,000 youngsters from the Kido chain.

    The drive mentioned it acquired a referral from the Motion Fraud cyber crime reporting service on 25 September detailing a ransomware assault.

    These arrested stay in custody for questioning.

    Will Lyne, Met’s Head of Financial and Cybercrime, mentioned: “We perceive studies of this nature may cause appreciable concern, particularly to these dad and mom and carers who could also be fearful in regards to the impression of such an incident on them and their households.

    “These arrests are a big step ahead in our investigation, however our work continues, alongside our companions, to make sure these accountable are delivered to justice.”

    Kido didn’t launched any public statements in regards to the hack however dad and mom and nurseries had been notified.
