To the editor: Who would have thought, of all of the influential establishments being attacked by the Trump administration — white-shoe regulation companies, prestigious universities, legacy media/information organizations and huge companies — it will be the comedians who would have the braveness to stay collectively, assist one another and stand tall in defiance, even because the highly effective grovel and capitulate?

Credentialed Pentagon journalists and their bosses ought to be taught a lesson from these courageous humorous males within the face of President Trump and Protection Secretary Pete Hegseth’s latest assault on the first Modification, requiring them to solely report data that the federal government needs launched (“Pentagon steps up media restrictions, requiring approval before reporting even unclassified info,” Sept. 21). Even unclassified data can’t be launched with out approval.

Think about if all the journalists from legacy and different respected retailers have been united and refused to attend press conferences, presidential interviews, Cupboard conferences, seats on Air Power One or some other alternative Trump has to talk except and till full independence to put in writing in regards to the Pentagon is restored. How lengthy wouldn’t it take for that to occur?

I’d guess much less time than it took for Jimmy Kimmel to be again on the air.
