    Massie on Epstein files: ‘We can’t avoid justice to avoid embarrassment for some very powerful men’

    Republican Rep. Thomas Massie mentioned Sunday that those that may be within the Jeffrey Epstein recordsdata have to be held accountable no matter their social standing.

    “We will not keep away from justice simply to keep away from embarrassment for some very highly effective males, Massie informed ABC Information’ “This Week” Anchor George Stephanopoulos.

    Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna mentioned there are sufficient votes within the Home to drive a vote on his and Massie’s discharge petition to launch the recordsdata.

    “We’ve got the 218 votes, 216 already help it. There are two vacancies that have not been reported as a lot, however two Democrats are going to be becoming a member of and they’re each dedicated to signing it. That is going to occur by the tip of September,” Khanna mentioned.
