    US VP Vance says Russia has made significant concessions toward Ukraine peace deal

    US Vice President JD Vance stated Russia has made “important concessions” towards a negotiated settlement in its struggle with Ukraine and was assured progress was being made regardless of the lack of clear signs the conflict is nearing an end.

    Talking on NBC’s “Meet the Press with Kristen Welker”, Vance stated Russian President Vladimir Putin has made a number of concessions, together with that Ukraine will obtain safety ensures defending in opposition to future Russian aggression.

    “I feel the Russians have made important concessions to President Trump for the primary time in three and a half years of this battle,” Vance stated in feedback aired on Sunday (Aug 24).
