    Israeli strikes hit the Yemeni capital Sanaa on Sunday (Aug 24) in retaliation for Houthi missiles fired in the direction of Israel, with Houthi media saying the assault killed no less than two individuals and injured 5.

    The strikes are the most recent in over a 12 months of direct attacks and counterstrikes between Israel and Houthi militants in Yemen, a part of a spillover from the war in Gaza.
