    North Korean chief hints at extra army cooperation with Moscow ‘sooner or later’ as he awards medals to troopers.

    North Korean chief Kim Jong Un has awarded medals to his returning and fallen troops, who fought for Russia within the battle in opposition to Ukraine, as he held an emotional assembly with the households of troopers killed on the battlefield, in line with the state-run Korean Central Information Company (KCNA).

    “The fight actions of abroad operational forces … proved with out remorse the facility of the heroic [North Korean] military,” and that the “liberation of Kursk” proved the “preventing spirit of the heroes”, KCNA reported on Friday, quoting Kim.
