    WASHINGTON: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated on Monday (Aug 19) he was prepared to satisfy immediately along with his Russian counterpart to finish the warfare.

    Talking to reporters after talks with US President Donald Trump and several European leaders at the White House, Zelenskyy stated he was prepared for what could be his first face-to-face with Vladimir Putin since Moscow’s invasion practically three and a half years in the past.

    “I confirmed – and all European leaders supported me – that we’re prepared for a bilateral assembly with Putin,” Zelenskyy stated following the summit.

    Zelenskyy has come below growing strain to cede territory to finish the grinding warfare, as Russia makes a collection of advances.

    Forward of the White Home assembly, Trump had pushed Ukraine to surrender Crimea and abandon its objective of becoming a member of NATO – each key calls for made by Putin.

    However Zelenskyy pressured he had been capable of present a clearer picture of the battlelines to Trump, who he met in a one-on-one within the Oval Workplace.

    “This was the very best of our conferences,” Zelenskyy stated, in line with a press release put out by his workplace. “I used to be capable of present many issues, even on the map, to all American colleagues relating to the scenario on the battlefield.”
