Rory McIlroy isn’t afraid to talk his thoughts, even when it means ruffling a number of feathers alongside the best way. Forward of the Genesis Scottish Open, the World No. 2 felt daring sufficient to take a delicate shot on the PGA of America’s headquarters.

“I might like to win an Open at [Royal] Portrush, completely,” McIlroy informed reporters at The Renaissance Membership Wednesday. “I might like to win an Open at St Andrews. I might like to win a U.S. Open at Pebble Seaside. I’d like to win a PGA at PGA Frisco… not.”

McIlroy paused to chuckle at his intelligent jab earlier than ending his thought.

“However it’s like there’s venues within the recreation that simply imply a little bit bit extra,” he mentioned. “Frisco would possibly get there in the future. Who is aware of?”
