WASHINGTON: United States President Donald Trump mentioned on Tuesday (Jul 1) he may think about deporting Elon Musk, after the South African-born billionaire slammed his flagship spending Invoice.

Trump additionally mentioned the Division of Authorities Effectivity (DOGE), which Musk headed earlier than stepping down in late May, could practice its sights on the Tesla and SpaceX founder’s authorities subsidies.

“I do not know. We’ll have to have a look,” Trump informed reporters on the White Home when requested if he would think about deporting Musk.

“We would need to put DOGE on Elon. You understand what DOGE is? DOGE is the monster that may have to return and eat Elon.”

Trump doubled down on the risk when he mentioned he believed Musk was attacking his so-called “One Huge Lovely Invoice” as a result of he was irritated that it had dropped measures to assist electrical autos (EV).

“He is dropping his EV mandate. He is very upset about issues, however you recognize, he may lose much more than that, I can inform you proper now. Elon can lose much more than that.”
