    TEL AVIV: Israel acknowledged placing a radar set up close to Tehran hours after the beginning of a ceasefire on Tuesday (Jun 24), in retaliation for Iranian missile launches, however stated it had kept away from additional assaults past that after US President Donald Trump spoke with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

    The prime minister’s workplace acknowledged the strike in an announcement after Trump publicly expressed frustration that Israel had launched strikes on Iran after the ceasefire settlement was reached however earlier than it took impact.

    Trump, who had announced the ceasefire overnight, also criticised Israel’s plans to respond militarily to an alleged Iranian violation of the ceasefire.

    Tehran has rejected accusations that it breached the truce, which was meant to begin at 7am Israeli time, and as a substitute stated Israel had continued its assaults on Iran for an hour and a half after the ceasefire got here into impact.

    Netanyahu’s workplace stated that Israel had carried out a strike in Tehran concentrating on Iranian safety forces at 3am, 4 hours earlier than the ceasefire was on account of begin.
