    Katherine Maher, the CEO of Nationwide Public Radio, lately did an interview on PBS throughout which she made the absurd declare that NPR is a non-partisan information group.

    She additionally tried to make the case that Trump is infringing on NPR’s First Modification rights, which is absurd.

    In an interview on “PBS NewsHour,” the NPR boss trashed Trump’s government order to “stop Federal funding for NPR,” calling it “viewpoint discrimination” and saying that Trump is simply taking it out on NPR as a result of it goes towards his views.

    “And so, it’s a textbook instance of viewpoint discrimination from a First Modification standpoint,” she stated, including, “Primarily, by blocking funding to NPR and PBS, it’s a type of retaliation towards our organizations for airing editorial programming that the president may disagree with.”…

    Maher responded to the critiques, declaring, “Properly, initially, I reply by saying we’re a non-partisan information group. We search to have the ability to present a spread of various viewpoints by way of who we deliver on air, the tales that we inform.”

    “My view is that may be a mischaracterization of our work. We don’t search to favor any political occasion in any respect. We search to make sure that People have a variety of views out there to them,” she added.
