To the editor: I’m a lifelong Palisades resident who misplaced two properties and most of my possessions within the Palisades hearth. I’m very a lot engaged in hearth restoration efforts and have attended many conferences. I’ve not heard one phrase from or about Hagerty Consulting since their weak presentation on the April 10 Pacific Palisades Neighborhood Council assembly that was described in your article (“As L.A. rebuilds from the Palisades fire, residents ask: What’s the plan?” Might 18).

Many established and new Pacific Palisades group teams are working arduous on hearth restoration, as is Metropolis Councilmember Traci Park and her staff. The town of Los Angeles and Hagerty Consulting don’t appear to be almost as organized or succesful as our native organizations. We don’t want generic consulting jargon. We want motion. If town can’t deal with this, give your tens of millions to the native Palisades organizations to straight assist our restoration.

    Vicki Warren, Pacific Palisades/Westlake Village
