    KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim mentioned he mentioned the downing of Malaysian Airways Flight MH17 with Russian President Vladimir Putin throughout a go to to Moscow, days after a UN report found Russia responsible for the catastrophe.

    The Worldwide Civil Aviation Organisation Council (ICAO) discovered this week that Russia was chargeable for the downing of MH17, which was shot down over jap Ukraine in 2014 throughout combating between pro-Russian separatists and Ukrainian forces.

    Moscow has rejected ICAO’s findings on the crash that killed all 298 passengers and crew, calling the ruling biased. 

    Anwar mentioned in a Fb put up late on Wednesday that he would proceed to press for accountability over the catastrophe.

    “Malaysia stays resolute in making certain accountability and a simply decision for the victims and their households who proceed to bear the burden of this tragedy,” he mentioned.

    Anwar mentioned that within the assembly Putin expressed condolences to the households of these killed, which included 196 Dutch residents, 43 Malaysians and 38 Australian residents or residents.
