Teodoro Dominguez Rodriguez, a 41-year-old unlawful alien and home painter, had simply walked out of a courtroom a free man—due to a dismissed assault cost—when he was instantly intercepted by plainclothes ICE officers.

Nicholas Reppucci, head of the Charlottesville Workplace of the Public Defender, who represented Rodriguez, known as the raid “extremely alarming” and a “public coverage mistake.”
He accused ICE of “taking up a state company with federal drive,” claiming the brokers did not establish themselves or produce warrants. “I’ve been right here since 1999, and I’ve not seen something like this earlier than,” Reppucci informed The Day by day Progress.
