    2 missing after flooding sweeps vehicles away in Oklahoma

    Two persons are lacking after two automobiles have been swept off the street because of flooding attributable to heavy rainfall in Oklahoma.

    First responders are trying to find two individuals who have been in one among automobiles, a Jeep, after three different individuals have been declared protected, in Moore, a metropolis south of Oklahoma Metropolis.

    The flooding comes as more than 30 million Americans are on alert for extreme climate this Easter weekend, as a number of states within the Heartland have already been slammed with tornadoes, hail and damaging winds.

    The 2 automobiles went off the street close to Southeast twelfth Avenue and S Jap Avenue, the Moore Police Division informed ABC Information affiliate KOCO. Each automobiles have been submerged within the water after being washed off a bridge, police stated.

    Police had earlier stated they have been working to help “greater than a dozen” motorists whose automobiles have been caught in excessive water.

    “A number of roads and neighbrhoods have water over the curbs,” the division stated on social media late on Saturday. “Keep house if in any respect attainable.”
