    President Donald Trump on Friday stated he’s extending the deadline for TikTok to be banned or bought off by its Chinese language-owned mother or father firm, ByteDance.

    On Thursday, Trump hinted that his recently announced tariffs on China might be a negotiating tactic to realize a deal on a TikTok sale.
