    MOSCOW: The Kremlin mentioned on Thursday (Mar 20) that the following US-Russia talks might happen on Sunday or early subsequent week, as Washington can also be as a result of maintain talks with Kyiv in Saudi Arabia within the coming days.

    US President Donald Trump spoke to each Russia’s Vladimir Putin and Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelenskyy earlier this week.

    “It might not be Sunday itself, the nuances are being agreed. It could possibly be the beginning, the very begin, of subsequent week,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov mentioned.

    Zelenskyy mentioned a day earlier that Kyiv and the US have been getting ready to fulfill within the “coming days” in Saudi Arabia.

    It was unclear if US officers would meet each the Ukrainian and Russian groups on the identical day, or if there was a chance of three-way talks that will contain Kyiv and Moscow speaking face-to-face.

    US Nationwide Safety Advisor Mike Waltz mentioned on Wednesday that “technical groups” from Russia and the US would meet in Riyadh “to concentrate on implementing and increasing the partial ceasefire President Trump secured from Russia”.

    Putin turned down a US-proposed unconditional ceasefire in Ukraine, agreeing solely to a 30-day halt in strikes on energy infrastructure.
