To the editor: If President Trump is so eager on buying Greenland for nationwide safety, worldwide safety, assets or no matter, why doesn’t he take into account procuring Ukraine and obtain all three within the discount (“Greenland’s election winners stand against Trump’s wish to take control of the island,” March 12)? Assume NATO member international locations would agree?

To the editor: Is there some cause that America needs to be first? I’m very snug with America being equal with our neighbors and allies. It feels conceited and obnoxious to rename the Gulf of Mexico and recommend we have to take over Greenland and the Panama Canal.
