    7 injured by ‘abnormally’ dropped bombs during South Korean military drill

    SEOUL — Seven folks have been injured in an accident wherein bombs have been “abnormally” dropped by a South Korean fighter jet throughout an train on Thursday, the nation’s army officers mentioned.

    South Korea’s Protection Ministry confirmed that eight MK-82 bombs have been dropped from an plane throughout a live-fire train that passed off within the Nogok-ri space of Pocheon, a metropolis that sits between Seoul and the Demilitarized Zone, the fortified border with North Korea.

    The ministry confirmed that the coaching is related to the annual U.S.-South Korea joint workouts, that are often called “Freedom Defend” and are scheduled to start March 10.

    The hearth division mentioned seven folks have been injured — three with main accidents and 4 with minor accidents. They’re now being handled at a hospital, officers mentioned.

    Two residential buildings, a non secular service constructing and a cargo truck have been reportedly injury because of the accident as properly.

    The Korean Air Drive mentioned it’s investigating the main points of the accident and can do its greatest to compensate for the injury.
