    China vows countermeasures against US tariffs linked to fentanyl

    BEIJING: China’s commerce ministry on Tuesday (Mar 4) voiced opposition in opposition to a United States determination to impose tariffs on Chinese products associated to fentanyl and different points, vowing countermeasures that it mentioned have been geared toward safeguarding its rights and pursuits.

    The US has “shifted the blame” and is utilizing its issues with lethal drug fentanyl as an excuse to impose tariffs, the ministry mentioned in an announcement.
