Russia is “very carefully monitoring all of the rhetoric” from Washington, a Kremlin spokesperson mentioned, after President Donald Trump threatened to impose new sanctions until Russia ends its struggle towards Ukraine.
“We do not see any new components right here,” Dimitry Peskov, the spokesperson, mentioned on Thursday.
He added, “You understand that in his first iteration of the presidency, Trump was the president of America who most frequently resorted to sanctions strategies. He likes these strategies. At the least he appreciated them throughout his first presidency.”

The feedback got here the morning after Trump’s social media message to Russian President Donald Trump, calling on him to make a deal to “settle” Russia’s struggle in Ukraine.

Peskov on Thursday mentioned monetary actions towards Russian belongings held within the West wouldn’t go unanswered.
“We’re very carefully monitoring all of the rhetoric, all of the statements, we rigorously file all of the nuances,” he mentioned.
