By the primary 4 weeks of the 2026 season, the Mississippi State Bulldogs seemed like they have been going to be a handful.
Led by star quarterback Kamario Taylor, the Bulldogs have been an early-season shock and Taylor seemed like probably the greatest quarterbacks in college football.
All of that momentum and pleasure has come to a screeching halt in current weeks, and the rest of Mississippi State’s season now has a bleak outlook.
Kamario Taylor is out for the season
In line with ESPN’s school soccer insider Pete Thamel, Taylor will miss the remainder of the season, as he’s seemingly set to endure surgical procedure on a toe harm he suffered a number of weeks again in opposition to Alabama.
The toe harm has lingered with Taylor for a number of weeks and triggered him to exit early in opposition to Alabama, miss the subsequent recreation in opposition to LSU and depart early in opposition to Oklahoma when he tried to return and play.
In line with Thamel, Taylor pushed to play by way of the harm, however it was in the end determined that he was not therapeutic correctly and Mississippi State determined to close his season down.
