LIEGE: A whole bunch of college students, inspired in part by educational unrest in neighbouring France, have taken to the streets of the Belgian metropolis of Liège, with native media reporting 107 arrests in current days.
Native authorities couldn’t instantly be reached to substantiate the arrests, which the Belga information company reported have been linked to offences together with property harm and arson.
College students have protested over Belgium’s French-language schooling system, citing rising schooling prices, overcrowded school rooms and difficulties accessing examine supplies.
