WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump stated on Monday (Oct 5) he’ll use his personal cash to pay for political adverts forward of November’s midterm elections, an about-face after drawing fireplace for utilizing taxpayer funds for TV spots selling himself.
The White Home and Trump vigorously defended the adverts as patriotic public service bulletins just like these run by earlier presidents.
The adverts have elicited criticism from each political events.
