    The Iranian ally seizes Yemen’s Pink Beach, cementing their maintain on the Bab al-Mandeb strait.

    The advance of the Houthis alongside Yemen’s Pink Beach has raised fears of a second entrance within the warfare between the USA and Iran.

    And it has put Saudi Arabia – the primary ally of Yemen’s internationally recognised authorities – in a tough spot.

    The Houthis now management the realm across the Bab al-Mandeb strait, which is essential for Saudi oil exports.

    The prospect of one other provide disruption, on the again of the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, has pushed oil costs above the $100 mark.
