Prospects in London can now journey within the UK’s first robotaxis as Uber launches its self-driving minicab on Thursday – the corporate is the primary to launch the service.
Initially, it solely has 15 autonomous automobiles with a licence to function within the metropolis, and each should have a human security driver behind the wheel able to take management if something goes flawed.
In the intervening time, the UK fare for a robotaxi experience would be the similar fare as a regular UberX, Uber Electrical, or Uber Consolation journey, with upfront fares proven within the app.
