The SEC is aiming to maintain the college in college sports.
On Tuesday, the SEC introduced that groups are prohibited from including gamers who beforehand declared for the NFL,
NBA or WNBA Drafts and did not withdraw throughout the allowed timeframe. Those that signed a contract in these leagues and their associates are additionally barred from competing. The choice was accepted in a unanimous 16-0 vote amongst college presidents, chancellors and athletic administrators.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Massive Ten unanimously accepted the same measure, banning lively NFL gamers from becoming a member of groups within the convention.
