To the editor: Related Press reporter Will Weissert hit the nail on the pinnacle along with his article (“The buck stops elsewhere: When things go awry, Trump deflects blame,” Aug. 16).
Nothing is ever the fault of President Trump or his administration, whether or not it’s the Reflecting Pool, the pricey conflict with Iran, the prolonged deployment of a U.S. plane service or the economic system.
Weissert is true. Trump refuses to take accountability. He shifts the blame to others, together with previous presidents and vandals, or just downplays the info.
Now, only a day after Weissert’s article ran, Trump is blaming vandals for grass injury close to the World Warfare II Memorial.
Is it so tough to confess that that is what occurs to grass if you construct a stage on it for a Fourth of July celebration with apparently (in line with Trump) greater than 400,000 attendees?
