WARSAW: Poland detained a Russian accused by Warsaw of planning to kill a Ukrainian-American twin citizen within the Polish capital on Moscow’s orders, Prime Minister Donald Tusk introduced Thursday (Aug 13).
Tusk advised journalists the suspect had been arrested final Friday, Aug 7.
“He was inconvenient from the perspective of the Putin regime, and on the final second … we managed to forestall this execution,” he added.
“That is the primary state of affairs of its form through which somebody, appearing on Russian orders, determined to hold out an assault in opposition to an American citizen on the territory of one other NATO nation,” he added.
Tusk stated brokers of the Polish Inner Safety Company (ABW) and police had arrested the suspect, with cooperation from American companies.
“Now we have to simply accept the belief that the Putin regime will attempt to remove people who find themselves inconvenient for numerous causes,” Tusk stated.
Warsaw, he added, “will probably come below comparable strain once more”.
