To the editor: I’m having fun with the wonders of AI each for enterprise and private help and for inquiries. Most troubling, nonetheless, is when AI is “pondering” — no, it’s extra correct to say “processing” (“Artificial intelligence can imitate us, but it cannot truly design or invent,” Aug. 6).

With social media, it took a few a long time to find the unanticipated risks of that expertise. I believe (and I, not like AI, do really assume) that AI must be banned from utilizing first-person pronouns: I, we, me and us. These pronouns create the phantasm that an actual individual is concerned.

Already, AI has develop into somebody’s new greatest good friend. We do not know what risks such imitation will carry to us, the people on this planet.
