To the editor: President Trump’s failure to handle the American individuals in February, to formally clarify his launch of the struggle in Iran, demonstrated an absence of respect. His selection to present a prime-time deal with from the White Home Thursday on so-called election integrity was additionally disrespectful, given the lies and exaggerations of his speech (“Trump repeats debunked claims about voting vulnerabilities in prime-time speech,” July 16).

For example, his particular dig at California’s latest election inaccurately confused the tip of vote-counting with the official certification of votes. Trump’s speech left the impression that he’s hopelessly hooked on lies, slander and conspiracy theories. His dialogue of “election integrity” renders a critical concern as a pretend one, spun to his benefit.

I like to recommend that Trump be quiet: No extra hot-air speeches, self-serving rants or unserious all-caps on-line posts till he has one thing first rate to say that’s worthy of our consideration.
