To the editor: I used to be moved to tears studying concerning the younger man who turned 18 and graduated from Jordan Excessive Faculty solely to be swept up by Immigration and Customs Enforcement the following day (“In bed 23 at Adelanto ICE detention center, a terrified teenager missed his mom,” July 10). The tears have been for him, but additionally due to the kindness of his fellow detainees who took care of him.
Caught in a hellhole for no good motive, these males seemed out for this frightened younger man. They shared their meager belongings and stored him entertained. How might anybody suppose these sorts of individuals needs to be deported? These males type the melting pot of what makes our nation a spot wherein all of us need to reside.
This nightmare has to finish quickly.
