Abbas Abdolkhani mentioned transport between Iran’s Dayyer port and Qatar’s Al Ruwais port had resumed following coordination between the Iranian embassy in Doha and Qatari authorities.

The two geographically reverse ports primarily cater to regional commerce. Dayyer port was hit a number of instances in the course of the struggle.

In late June, an official from the Commerce Promotion Organisation of Iran instructed state media that Iranian items had been lastly being cleared on the United Arab Emirates’ Jebel Ali Port, the most important within the area, pointing to a gradual return of commerce between the Gulf’s two sides.
