To the editor: My expertise was completely different from columnist LZ Granderson’s (“How to be a father in the present, not battling the past,” June 19). First, my father was in my life. He handed on his love of sports activities, politics and household to me.
Second, from the time I used to be 8, I knew I’d be a dad some day. Seems, it occurred thrice. Consequently, my two sons have three younger youngsters between them. Proper now, my daughter is on the hunt for a pet.
Of all of the titles I had throughout my profession — founder, govt director, advertising director, vice chairman, fundraising guide and extra — the one I cherished then and nonetheless do now could be “Dad.” No company nook workplace or enterprise expense account matches it. By no means did. By no means will.
