The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating a detailed name between two business flights that had been in peril of colliding Saturday morning at Boston Logan Worldwide Airport.

A Delta Air Strains flight from Dallas needed to execute a go-around, or aborted touchdown, to keep away from an American Airways aircraft departing from an intersecting runway, in keeping with the FAA and flight logs.

The crew of Delta flight 2351 coordinated with air site visitors management to carry out the go-around, an airline spokesperson mentioned. The aircraft, which had 129 passengers and 6 crew members on board, landed safely and deplaned usually, in keeping with the spokesperson.

American Airways and the airport referred requests for remark to the FAA.

Go-arounds are protected, routine procedures carried out on the discretion of the pilot or air site visitors controllers, in keeping with the FAA.

The shut name comes on the heels of a number of aviation accidents in current days.

On Saturday a founding father of a gaming firm was killed in a plane crash in France. Earlier this week a business jet crashed in Laredo, Texas, killing one particular person on board.

A B-52 crashed Monday throughout a check flight at Edwards Air Drive Base in California and killed all eight individuals aboard. And final Sunday 12 people were killed when a aircraft on a skydiving outing in Missouri crashed.
