WIGGINS, Miss. — 5 individuals have been killed when a practice and van collided in rural Mississippi, authorities mentioned Friday.
All 5 killed have been within the van, Stone County Coroner Wayne Flurry mentioned. The lone surviving van passenger, a 23-year-old lady, was flown to a hospital, Flurry mentioned. Nobody aboard the practice was reported injured.
The crash occurred when a Canadian Pacific Kansas Metropolis freight practice collided with a car in a crossing, the railroad mentioned in a press release. The situation was close to the city of Wiggins about 45 miles (72 kilometers) northwest of Biloxi.
The Stone County Sheriff’s Workplace was investigating the crash, the corporate mentioned.
