    152 dogs rescued from ‘extremely poor’ conditions in Utah

    Authorities have rescued a complete of 152 canine dwelling in “extraordinarily poor” circumstances from a home in Utah, officers mentioned.

    Police in Ogden, Utah, together with Ogden Animal Providers officers responded to a residence within the 3000 block of Jefferson Avenue after receiving a report of doable animal neglect, in keeping with an Ogden Metropolis Police Division press launch.

    “Upon arrival and additional investigation, officers found 152 canine dwelling in extraordinarily poor and overcrowded circumstances,” authorities mentioned. “As a result of scale and severity of the state of affairs, further help was requested from Weber County Animal Providers, Roy Animal Providers, and Draper Animal Providers.”

    All 152 canine have been safely faraway from the property and are at present receiving veterinary care, evaluations and shelter help, officers mentioned.

    “Weber County Animal Providers is working with Ogden Metropolis Animal Management to offer protected lodging for the animals within the hording investigation,” Weber County Animal Providers mentioned in a press release. “The animals are at present on the Weber County Animal Shelter in kennels in spare rooms, separate from the opposite animals in our care to forestall the unfold of doable ailments.”

    Animal companies at the moment are working with rescue teams and companions at different animal shelters to offer medical care and doable relocation for these animals.
